FoldAR was founded to introduce truly revolutionary products that meet the demands of high-quality compact AR-platform firearms primarily for the Law Enforcement and Military Special Operations communities. FoldAR is a Veteran owned and operated company, and all core components are proudly made in Texas, and the rest are proudly made in other areas of the USA.
FoldAR series of firearms are often improperly described as filling a “niche” in the compactable AR-15 market. While the statement is somewhat accurate, FoldAR products do much more. In reality, the FoldAR technology is an evolutionary replacement of the successful 70-year-old platform. Transformative by nature, it has the ability to serve as both a fixed-barrel platform AND the ultimate compactable foldable AR solution, able to stay fully assembled in all configurations and being limited in compactness only by the length of its barrel.
Further defining the transformative nature of FoldAR products, we anticipate that within another 20 years non-folding AR15 upper receivers will be antiquated and perceived as “outdated technology”. Transformation is a real possibility simply because there are neither functionality, reliability, nor safety trade-offs, and there are no significant additional manufacturing costs compared to non-folding uppers.
FoldAR Mission Statement:
To transform the AR-15 market by arming first responders, disarming skeptics, and unhinging our competitors.
FoldAR Vision Statement:
FoldAR seeks to further transform the AR-15 market by standardizing the folding-barrel AR platform for Law Enforcement and the US Military by the year 2037.
Corby Hall (President of Operations)
Mr. Hall began his career designing AR-platform firearms in 2005 after being approached by LWRC to help design their SABR, originally proposed as a “compact” piston-operated AR-10. Upon successful completion of his work, the SABR was renamed REPR and quickly became LWRCI’s flagship product.
East Texas Machining & Manufacturing LLC (ETMM) began in Mr. Hall’s Leander, TX garage with a basic CNC machine in 2009. Between 2009 and 2016, Mr. Hall designed and made high-precision AR’s, including the world’s first long-action AR in 338 Lapua Mag. In 2016, Mr. Hall developed and patented the folding AR-10 and AR-15 upper (US Patent 9,995,556), and created the FoldAR brand in 2018.
Mr. Hall focuses on the general management of FoldAR’s operations, as well as developing new products and scalable manufacturing strategies for complex components and assemblies. In total, Mr. Hall has 24 years’ experience in complex product design and advanced manufacturing strategies. As an inventor, he has been granted 8 utility patents, bringing 5 to market with several more in claim-development, and 2 others improperly patented by competitors.
Mr. Hall is an honorably discharged US Navy veteran.
Brandon Jordan (Vice President of Operations)
SGT. Jordan joined FoldAR to direct its facility operations and personnel, and to participate in product development, customer service, marketing, and sales.
As a lifelong enthusiast, and as a technical expert on various weapon systems gained from extensive combat action with 1-10CAV, 2-8INF, and 6-4CAV hunter-killer teams in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, SGT. Jordan brings immense value to FoldAR and its objective to transform the AR-15 market. SGT. Jordan quickly recognized FoldAR’s numerous advantages over traditional non-folding AR-15 platforms, generally in all combat/SOF roles and particularly in tactical/clandestine engagements.
With four beautiful daughters, SGT. Jordan and veteran Army wife SSG. April Jordan are constantly developing new ways to prepare them for a life of independent thinking, confidence, ambition, and respect. As an avid hunter, SGT. Jordan proactively adapts to environments while maintaining weapon superiority at the same time. “Train the way you fight”.
As the son of a pastor, SGT. Jordan was raised as a God-fearing faith-filled man, and to think for himself independently from the world’s noise. During his years in combat, SGT. Jordan leaned on his two favorite scriptures: Psalms 144:1 “Praise be to the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle”, and Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, who shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, here am I, send me”. SGT. Jordan is an active community-leader where he serves as a volunteer firefighter in The Sprang. He also coaches Dixie league basketball and softball for his local school district. As with his own children, SGT. Jordan teaches all his players respectful “Apex Predator” theory on the court, diamond, and in life.
Melody Douglas (Vice President of Operations)
Ms. Douglas joined FoldAR to direct its marketing, systems integrations, customer service, quality assurance, human resources, accounting, industry relations and compliance.
Ms. Douglas fashioned her career by taking new businesses to the next level with her management expertise and sales background. Proving a natural ability to identify bottlenecks in existing business structures, she has extensive experience in helping companies break out of “start-up” status.
